GENERAL USE DIRECTIONS
Using the Backyard Garden kit is as simple as 1-2-3!1. Pre-mix Humus
Premix 1lb Humus in 1 gallon water. Let dissolve completely.
2. Add Humus Mixture and Fertilizer to container

Important: Be sure Humus granules are completely dissolved before filling container.
Hose End Sprayer: Pour 8 ozs liquid humus mixture into container.
EZFlo: Fill container with 1/4 of liquid humus mixture.All Purpose Fertilizer:
Pour Algoplus Liquid Fertilizer into Hose end sprayer bottle or EZFlo to max fill line.3. Now just water into the soil!
Hose End Sprayer: Attach a hose to the end rotate the dial to 1 TBS. Fully soak the soil in wide swaths. One full container can be used every 1/4 acre. Avoid wetting plants like tomatoes that prefer to stay dry.
EZFlo: Set dial to 2 and place hose end sprinklers in desired locations or hand water using wide swaths. Note: If this is a first time set up, please see instruction manual for attaching the EZFlo connector bib.
For optimum results - reapply liquid fertilizer at each watering.

How often should I fertilize with liquid Algoplus fertilizers?
Using liquid Algoplus fertilizers at every watering is recommended. We suggest at least twice per week or when it is dry an inch into the soil.
Can I use Algoplus on my organic garden?
Yes! Algoplus fertilizers can be used in your organic garden. Fertilizers are natural-born nutrients that plants can digest: "plant food." Fertilizers are not toxic. The main nutrients in most fertilizers - nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium - are naturally found on the land and in the air. In fact, these nutrients in fertilizers are the same as those in foods we eat and in our bodies. In addition to the basic natural ingredients, Algoplus is 100% mineral based, with NO harmful chemicals, NO environmental impact, and even NO color or odor!
What does NPK mean?
NPK stands for Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K). Each number represents the total percentage of weight of each fertilizer as packaged. Nitrogen is important to stimulate growth rate and to "green up" the foliage so that it can process nutrients more efficiently. Phosphorus stimulates rapid root growth. Potassium, stimulates flowering and fruiting.
What is the difference between the plant specific formulations?
Each specific plants needs differ from that of other plants depending on many factors including flowering, fruiting, root type as well as many other considerations. Plants can survive with only water, carbon dioxide and sunlight, but they also need minerals to grow and thrive. Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium (N-P-K) represent the percentage of nutrients contained in the fertilizer and is designed to meet the specific plants nutrient needs.
Why is Algoplus's NPK formulation lower than other commercial fertilizers?
Excessive nutrients can cause the roots and plants to burn up as the roots assimilate the nutrients. Algoplus only uses the purest nutrients, balanced perfectly to allow the plant to absorb all the salts (N-P-K) in sufficient quantities, without any risk of blocking or burning its roots. ALL of the nutrients are assimilated by the plants root system and no nutrients remain in the soil.
